STEM Sisters at the North Museum

The North Museum’s STEM Sisters program was created as a fun, interactive, and effective way to spark young women’s interest in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) careers.

Focusing on girls in grades 6–12, the STEM Sisters program offers young girls an opportunity to meet undergraduate and professional women in STEM fields and discover new potential career paths. The program’s ongoing Meetup events, special events, and collaborations with area organizations share a mission to encourage and empower young women.

This month, Junior League of Lancaster members Julia McCarthy and Beth Valentin will be at the winter meet up on February 8.
