The 2023 Cornhole Classic Fundraiser

We cordially invite you to join us on Saturday, August 19th for the Junior League of Lancaster’s 2nd Annual Cornhole Classic, a family-friendly crowd-pleaser of an event that is gearing up to be bigger and better than ever before!

Held at Kissel Valley Farm in breathtaking pastural Lititz, PA from 2:00-6:00 p.m., attendees will be able to partake in an organized cornhole tournament where amazing prizes are up-for-grabs. Whether you’re facing stiff competition on the field or soaking in some of that unmatched Vitamin D from the summer sun, you will be treated to the swaying sounds of dance-inducing tunes and enticed by mouth-watering food from Gourmet Julie’s Way and Mr. Ice Cream Kid, two of Lancaster County’s most famous food trucks. Delectable microbrews and fine wines courtesy of our friends at the Bulls Head Public House, recognized by USA Today is one of the best beer bars in the U.S., will be back in action this year (cash only accepted). With a silent auction, featuring Scavenger Hunts by Let’s Roam and many other great items, and 50/50 Raffle at stake, the champions of the 2023 Cornhole Classic Tournament won’t be the only folks walking away as winners!

Not to be overshadowed by the fun that the adults are certain to enjoy, children of all ages will be treated to a variety of fun and interactive kids’ activities – including a bounce slide, face painting stations, and more – that will allow them to burn off some of that pent-up, no-school-in-session energy!

All proceeds collected from the fundraiser will directly support the Junior League of Lancaster’s local community projects and programs, which are tied into our Issue-Based Community Impact (IBCI) focus area of fighting Nutrition Insecurity in Lancaster.

While there will be no advance or day-of ticket sales, a suggested $5.00 donation per family is encouraged. Cash will accepted, as well as Square-approved payment methods (i.e. major credit cards and mobile wallets such as Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Samsung Pay). All contributions, which will be non-refundable, will be collected at the door and earmarked as a designated gift to the Junior League of Lancaster. Friends, partners, and supporters who are unable to physically attend can make a private donation to our Endowment Fund by clicking here

Picnic tables will be set-up throughout the field for guests to sit down and relax, as well as a large tent for reprise from the sun. For additional comfort, attendees are welcome to bring their own chair or blanket. Leashed dogs are also permitted, but you must clean up after your pet!

In the event of inclement weather, the Cornhole Classic will be postponed and held on Sunday, August 20th from 2:00-6:00 p.m. Updates will be regularly communicated via our main Facebook page and the designated Facebook event page.

The Junior League of Lancaster wishes to thank our valued corporate sponsors for their generosity in making the 2023 Cornhole Classic a success!
