100th Anniversary

 

The Junior League of Lancaster is thrilled to invite you to a night of elegance and celebration as we commemorate the Junior League of Lancaster’s 100th anniversary at our Centennial Gala. The event will be held on Saturday, June 1, 2024 at the historic Fulton Theater (12 North Prince Street, Lancaster).

Join us for a memorable evening (7PM-11PM) filled with music, dancing and honoring our rich history of community service. This special event is open to the public and we would love for you to be a part of this historic milestone.

Q: What is the Centennial Gala?

A: The Centennial Gala is a celebration marking our hundredth anniversary milestone. It’s an opportunity to celebrate and honor our 100 years of supporting the community during an evening filled with festivities, and entertainment.

 

Q: When and where is the Centennial Gala taking place?

A: The Centennial Gala is on Saturday, June 1, from 7 to 11 p.m. at Fulton Theater in Lancaster.

Q: When do tickets go on sale?

A: Our early-bird ticket sales for the Centennial Gala start at 9 a.m. on March 4. The early-bird sale is exclusive to Junior League members.

Later this Spring, tickets for the Gala will open to the general public.

 

Q: How much are Gala tickets?

A: There are three tiers of tickets. Each tier includes an evening of dancing with live music provided by Mama Tried Band and heavy hors d’oeuvres catered by Cracked Pepper Catering. A cash bar will be available. Seating for this event is limited, please review the ticketing options below for additional details:

Friend of the Junior League of Lancaster $128.00 Friends of the Junior League will also receive a complimentary glass of champagne and access to the VIP area. Friends of the Junior League will not receive guaranteed table seating.
VIP* $178.00 VIPs will also receive a complimentary glass of champagne, access to the VIP area, and guaranteed table seating.

 

Q: Are tickets limited?

A: Yes, VIP-level tickets, guaranteeing table seating, are limited. If having a reserved table is a priority for you, make sure to secure your VIP tickets early to ensure the best seating at the event.

General Admission and Friend of the Junior League of Lancaster tickets, while technically limited, can seat upwards of 1,000 people and we are not concerned with those levels selling out.

 

Q: What is the dress code for the gala?

A: The dress code for the gala is Cocktail Attire (Black Tie Optional).

Cocktail Attire (Black Tie Optional) strikes a balance between formal and semi-formal wear, offering a more versatile and contemporary approach to dressing for the event. Our dress code encourages guests to embrace a stylish and refined look without the strict formality of a traditional black-tie dress code. Some options include, but are not limited to:

  • Evening gown, or a knee-length or tea-length cocktail dress. Alternatively, a chic dressy pantsuit or a formal jumpsuit is also be suitable.
  • Heels or dressy flats can be worn, depending on personal comfort and style. Note that seating is not guaranteed at all ticket levels, please take this into consideration with your shoe choice.
  • Tuxedo, or tailored dark suit, such as charcoal or navy
  • A dress shirt with a tie is recommended, and while a bow tie is an option, it’s not mandatory.

 

Q: Do I need to be a member of the Junior League to attend the Centennial Gala?

A: No, the Centennial Gala is open to all of the Lancaster Community looking to celebrate our 100th Aniversary. All guests must have a pre-purchased ticket for entry to the Gala.

 

Q: Will there be food and beverages at the Centennial Gala?

A: Absolutely! The Centennial Gala will feature a gourmet heavy hors d’oeuvres catered by Cracked Pepper Catering. A full cash-bar will be available. Details about dietary options and the menu will be available in advance or can be requested from the event organizers.
