Junior League of Lancaster Announces 2019-2020 President and Board of Directors

The Junior League of Lancaster, PA, Inc. (JLL) is pleased to announce its new President, Libby Caldwell, and its 2019-2020 Board of Directors.  

Caldwell grew up in Lancaster and graduated from Lancaster Country Day School, after which she attended Lafayette College where she studied Psychology and French. She then went on to earn a Master’s Degree in Independent School Leadership at the University of Pennsylvania. She is currently employed as the Director of the Middle School at Linden Hall in Lititz. When not at work or volunteering with JLL, Libby enjoys reading, cooking, and traveling with her husband, Cody. Libby has been a member of the JLL since 2012 and is grateful for the training and leadership opportunities gained from her League experience. 

Fellow board members include Stacie Reidenbaugh, President-Elect; Natasha Williams-Solomon, Parliamentarian; Katie Walmer, Recording Secretary; Christi Zahm, Treasurer; Alexandra Stairs, Nominating Committee Chair; Anna Kennedy, Placement Committee Chair; Arielle Weidner, Community Impact Vice President; Susan Bowser, Communications Vice President; Megan Lefever Titter, Membership Development Vice President; Sarah Lesser, Fund Development Vice President; Cathy Ketterman, Sustainer Board Chair.

Celebrating more than 95 years in Lancaster, JLL has a proven history as a community leader through regular projects. Past projects of JLL include the restoration of both Wheatland and Rock Ford, the Hands-on House Children’s Museum of Lancaster, and the Rain Garden Initiative. 

Currently, the JLL is focused on installing Aquasprouts systems in Lancaster County schools as part of their Girls + Stem Initiative, and recently partnered with Benchmark Program to send 21 of their students to the YMCA Camp Shand.

The JLL hosts various fundraisers which enable the group to support its community projects and programs. On Saturday, March 14, 2019, the JLL will hold its 15th Annual “Run4Luck” 4-mile run/2-mile walk – a fun, St. Patrick’s Day-themed race day fit for families, walkers, and runners alike.
