Junior League of Lancaster Announces 2017-2018 President and Board of Directors

LANCASTER, PA (September 1, 2017) – The Junior League of Lancaster, PA, Inc. (JLL) is pleased to announce its new President – Sarah Ganse, and its 2017-2018 Board of Directors.  Sarah Ganse is a longtime resident of Lancaster, PA. Born in Cincinnati, OH, she moved to Pennsylvania in first grade. She attended Lancaster Catholic High School, and then Temple University. She later transferred to Penn State Capital College in Harrisburg, PA, and graduated with a B.S. in Psychology.  In 2005, Sarah married longtime friend, Greg Ganse. Together, they have four children: Elisabeth (11), Henry (9), Katy (7), and Claire (5). Sarah works part time for Leadership Lancaster as the Alumni Engagement Coordinator and also volunteers at her childrens’ school when she can.  She enjoys running, baking, entertaining, boating, skiing, concerts, and the beach. She is delighted to be a part of the Junior League of Lancaster and is thankful for the leadership training and opportunities this volunteer organization has given to her.

The JLL is an organization of women committed to promoting voluntarism, developing the potential of women and improving communities through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers. The JLL hosts various fundraisers which enable the group to support its community projects and programs.
