100th Anniversary Kick-Off Party

The Junior League of Lancaster (JLL) will be celebrating its milestone centennial anniversary during our 2023-2024 League year, but our year-long spectacle of a celebration begins now!

On Wednesday, May 10th, the 100th Anniversary Kick-Off Committee and the women of the JLL warmly invite the Lancaster County community to join us for an enchanting evening with lauded New York Times Best-Selling Author, Patti Callahan Henry, that will include inspiring words from this famed co-host and co-creator of the weekly podcast series “Friends and Fiction” and fun at every angle within the room!

Tickets can now be purchased online at $75.00/per person, and will include a spread of succulent heavy hors d’oeuvres catered by local catering company Cracked Pepper Catering and an open bar (beer and wine only). Patti’s latest novel, The Secret Book of Flora Lea, is also available for pre-order sales courtesy of the League.

Schedule 

5:00-6:00 p.m.: Social hour begins, as well as an opportunity for attendees to have their books signed by novelist Patti Callahan Henry

6:00-6:35 p.m.: Formal welcome from the Junior League of Lancaster; brief remarks from author Patti Callahan Henry at Ryder Hall

6:45-8:00 p.m.: Guests to partake in mixing-and-mingling (hors d’oeuvres and the open bar to remain open until the end of the evening); novelist Patti Callahan Henry to offer book signing services while interacting with guests

Registration

Online registration is now open, and tickets will be required for entry at LancasterHistory (230 North President Avenue/Lancaster, PA 17603). Ticket sales will close on Wednesday, May 3rd and will not be sold at the door.
