JLL President, 2009-2010

Jamie Burgess has been named President of the Junior League of Lancaster for the upcoming year.  Burgess has been an active volunteer in the Lancaster community for many years, and she epitomizes the Mission of the Junior League of Lancaster, which is promoting volunteerism, developing the potential of women and improving the community through effective action and leadership. 

“I am honored to be serving as the President of the Junior League of Lancaster, and organization that has served Lancaster County for 86 years.  The members of the Junior League are among the most dynamic group of women in our community.  Through our mission - promoting voluntarism, developing the potential of women and improving the community – our members work toward bettering the lives of families in Lancaster County.  I am excited to be part of such a wonderful organization!”

Burgess has been active in the league since 2001 with her roles as House Program Chair, Membership Development Chair and a member of Fund Development Committee.  Burgess received a BA from University of Michigan and is employed at Armstrong World Industries as Marketing Specialist. 

JLL President-Elect, 2009-2010

Kristin Kopp has been named President-Elect of the Junior League of Lancaster.  Kopp has been active in the league since 2003 with her roles as Run4Luck Chair, Fund Development Chair, Membership Development Assistant Chair and finance liason for the Thrift Corner.  Kopp received a BS from Cornell University in Business Management/Marketing and is employed part-time as a financial professional with Cornerstone Investments.
