On October 7, the Junior League of Lancaster (JLL) hosted Laura Ling at the 2011 Annual Author's Luncheon.  The event was very well attended with over 400 guests filling the room at the Lancaster Marriott.  Raffle and ticket sales benefited programs of the Junior League of Lancaster such as Kids in the Kitchen and our Women Build House.  For more information on all of our community projects, please click here.

Guests were invited to arrive at 11am to purchase books andraffle tickets or have their books signed by Ling. Lisa Ling took the stage after lunch and shared her courageous story about captivity in North Korea. 

The 2011 Author's Luncheon Committee would like to thank the entire League for all its support in making the event such a great success!  Laura Ling's message of hope was truly inspiring, and we were so honored to introduce her to our community.
